Located west of Gyeongbokgung Palace, Seochon combines residential streets, independent cafés, small galleries, local restaurants, and traces of older Seoul. Compared with some of the city's busiest tourist districts, the neighborhood can feel more relaxed and rewards visitors who enjoy wandering through smaller streets.
Before you visit
Combine a Seochon walk with Gyeongbokgung or the surrounding historic area. Many interesting spots are scattered through side streets rather than concentrated on one main road.
